Event Details Sit & Fit Chair Exercise Class Date: 7/3/2008 Time: 10:00 am to 11:00 am Location: South Iredell Senior Center (View Map) Description: By popular demand, there will be a chair exercise class for any senior interested at South Iredell Senior Center. The class will meet every Tues. & Thurs. at 10 a.m. Please wear something comfortable that gives with your movement. Feel free to bring hand weights, or two water bottles to gain more from the workout. There is no fee. The fun and fellowship starts at 11 a.m. with a covered dish picnic luncheon. Be sure to bring a basket full of those Fourth of July favorites. After everyone fills their tummy, sit back and enjoy the entertainment. Festivities include a pie baking contest with the winner receiving a $10 gift certificate. Everyone gets to be a judge and vote. Other fun activities include a spoon race, watermelon seed spitting contest, Wii Game, and more. Don’t miss the fun. Church St. Mooresville (View Map) Description: Stroke Survivor Support Group meets the 1st Thursday of each month from 1-3 p.m. The group reaches out to individuals in the community and supports them in coming to terms with how their life has changed and issues they face in every day life.
