Event Details Free Medication Consultation & Controlling High Cholesterol Ed Date: 7/22/2008 Time: 1:00 am to 2:00 am Location: South Iredell Senior Center (View Map) Description: Senior adults and caregivers can receive important information on how to improve their health or the health of a loved one, and spend one-on-one time with a local CVS Pharmacist to ask questions about medications. Seniors and caregivers will receive tips and tools for medication compliance, and determination on any potential interactions between prescription medications, as well as, identification of duplicate prescriptions or over the counter medications. Individuals should call the South Iredell Senior Center 704-662-3337 to schedule a one-on-one session and bring their medications in the original container. The CVS Pharmacists will help identify medication problems, including, but not limited to, duplicate therapies, outdated medication, possible side effects, and improper storage conditions. This event is particularly set up to aid and assist caregivers who deal with individuals taking multiple medications. Play it safe, get those medications checked! The class will meet every Tues. & Thurs. at 10 a.m. Please wear something comfortable that gives with your movement.
